I tried to give titles to my photographs. But they won't show up in the new messy template.

    Hello,
    they are visible only in popup window - when "fullscreen" is enabled for gallery.

    Hello
    I don't think this is senseful. Most users have deaktivated popup windows. Couldn't you change the software to display a title below the image? This would be much more intuitive and convenient.

    No, no this not a new window popup but a layer covering the site - check this example site http://www.rapolasgrazys.com/angry-flower/ by clicking on the image.

    Under "template design - custom CSS" field you can add you own custom CSS code to force show image captions in page, here's CSS code sample for slideshow gallery type:

    .xGalleryType-slideshow .xGalleryImageCaption {
    display: block;
    }

    Good luck

    Do you have a code that works for the spreatsheet gallery as well?
    Will this be destroyed if I update?

    Try this custom CSS:

    .xGalleryImageCaption {
    display: block;
    }
