(see image)

Hi,
it's better idea to center all website, not only gallery.
To do that, go to "template design", "Page layout" tab and set
"Centered layout" to "yes".

Was it helpful?

Uldistag:support.berta.me,2012-03-15:Comment/246789092013-02-07T15:13:49Z2013-02-07T15:13:52ZDoes anyone know how to center the gallery? (see image)

Thanks very much. I understand that would be simpler but I
really want to keep the logo and menu on the left so it doesn't
keep moving when the images change. I got this centering to work in
a very simple version of the template with just three divs but I am
not sure how to make that work in the white template.

Thanks again, any ideas welcome.

JohnCtag:support.berta.me,2012-03-15:Comment/246789092013-02-07T15:27:46Z2013-02-07T15:27:46ZDoes anyone know how to center the gallery? (see image)

Try to overwrite existing CSS definitions like this:

#contentContainer {
width: auto;
}
#mainColumn {
margin: 0 auto;
}

Uldistag:support.berta.me,2012-03-15:Comment/246789092013-02-07T16:44:36Z2013-02-07T16:44:41ZDoes anyone know how to center the gallery? (see image)

Thanks again. That doesn't seem to have much effect but I will
try adjusting a few other things and get back to you. I think some
margin settings are being affected by other margins so it doesn't
quite sit in the center of the space. I'm sure it's possible.

Thanks

JohnCtag:support.berta.me,2012-03-15:Comment/246789092013-02-07T22:35:14Z2013-02-07T22:35:16ZDoes anyone know how to center the gallery? (see image)

Well, I finally got it to look good with these extra custom CSS
settings. Chrome's Inspect Element feature is superb for this
stuff. The site now works on iPad and smartphone. Thanks again.

#allContainer { margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
} #contentContainer { margin-left: auto;
}

JohnC
